FUNNY STORY!!!!

Hokey. So yesterday the POPO hula hooped. I lost my shit. So did the people smoking weed beside me. Yesterday was cool Iron and Wine was AMAZING! Lemon grass chicken was also my life yesterday it was sooooo good!!!!!!!!!
OK BUT BACK TO TODAY"S FUNNY STORY!!!!!
Ok so today I basically used the price gun which was exxciting. And all the artists have to come in and bring their own CD"s and Merch and then I have to price them all. So I talked to so many artists today I don't even know who they were. It was awesome. One's I remember: Louis from Woodchoppers, Guy from Gomez and guy who we spelt name wrong. :( Also who the eff misspells Pacifika. WTF?!?!? And who puts Arrested Development under D? Arrested Development was good. Saw the last of their set. Saw the beginning of The Decemberists set. Was alright. BUT BACK TO THE STORY!!!! So I'm sitting eating my supper. And then the guy sitting with his back to me at the next table gets up and I notice his shoes and his jeans length. And I'm like OMFG THATS MBF!!!!!! So I go get more water and then sit a few seats away from him. But before I can jump into conversation he leaves. And I'm like fuuuu..... So then I'm sitting there depressed when I hear a guitar. I look to my right and there's a stage that has MBF AND HIS GUITAR! OH SHIT!!!!!!! And then the artists sitting beside me there were 2, were like drumming it out to MBF. And I started singing along when he played Maxine. And he looked up and saw me and started smiling and laughing. I was like Oh dear lord. So everytime from then on he'd look up at me and start grinning like MBF does. So then we were still singing Maxine and he said something after his lyrics about how him and I wouldn't get in a fight. And then he was like I started singing the wrong verse, you should have told me! And I was like AHH!!!!!! So then I had to leave while he was still playing. Balls.
So I go back to the tent and we're all pricing and hanging out. Good times. Esthero sounded great from our little tent.
Then Anna comes up and is like I don't want to go to the satellite you go. And Andrea was like no, send Jessica. So I'm walking to the tent and drop off the CD's. As I'm walking back there's this part where you have to walk under a string. And this guy holds the string for me and the persons he's wlaking with. And I look at the ground only to see MBF"S SHOES! So I flipped my shit. And he was like hey thanks for singing along today. And then I was like yeah not a problem. And he was like I'm glad you enjoyed it. And I was all your music makes me happy. And then he introduced himself I ALMOST DIED! He like put out his hand and was like I'm Michael. So we shook hands and I was all I'm Jessica. And then he introduced me to his brother and friend. And then he was complaining about being tired and I was like well maybe it was all the food you ate at the tent. Did you have the chicken or vegetables? And he was like chicken. Then continued talking about his sleepy-ness. And he was like so are you working the whole weekend or are you coming out to another show? And I was all uhm I'm going to make the one Sunday morning with the full band, I'm excited. It's weird telling a musician you're excited to see them perform on another day. Hahahaha. So then he was like yeah invite your friends so we can get a lot of people. And I'm like yeah ok (stupid musician promotion). And then I was all so where are you guys heading? And they were going to get his brother some merch so I had to point them towards the ATM. And then he was all nice meeting you, see you later.
And that was my day with MBF. And now I can't stop smiling.
Because A. I saw MBF play. B. I talked with MBF while he was on stage. C. MBF introduced himself as Michael. D. MBF remembered me. E. I got to walk and talk with MBF.
I love today.
Will update concert list when I finally pick up my program. Still haven't done that.
Going early tomorrow to see Mark Berube and The Patriotic Few. Then volunteering. Then hanging out at mainstage. Oooo and Spolumbos for lunch tomorrow and Steak and Mushrooms for dinner. I'm excited! Aus might come down tomorrow too. YAY!
And then Sunday, I'm going early for yoga in the park and then going to see MBF and then volunteering all day.
Also read some Ferron poetry today, thanks to Andrew asking Bruce to read it. Thanks Andrew... Andrew's sweet but he's not coordinating tomorrow. Sigh. The chicks are cool too though!
