My Shit Is Still Flipping

Sarah brought me a sign up form for the blog thingy. YAY!
Got my booklet thing today. YAY!
Then went down to th Broke City Stage and watched some bands KILL IT! It was like they were playing but the other people from other bands would just pick up the notes and start playing. It made my life. I LOVE shows like that. So I chilled there eating more apricots. I keep eating apricots. They're yummy and free mmk?
So then I went to the tent. Lame. Today was slow. Helping people find CD's. Had a few autograph sessions today which was good for business. I hated the girls I worked with today, except that one lady. She was alright. I was tlaking to her about MBF when he was signing and she was like he is such a nice young gentleman, when he came in this morning and brought his merch he was just so genuine. Way too goooooo MBF, schmoozing the elderly.
Lost respect for Andrea today. She was like all fan girlish and cutting her shirt. I was like lame.
Oh so MBF peeked in the tent after his singing. Because the tent is outside our tent. I was like eek MBF. And I kept pushing out his CD, then the stupid new girls came and ruined my marketing scheme of oh we're almost out so you better get your favourite cd's now! Stupid girls.
Andrew sent me into the trailer to sort out megatunes crap. Then he was being all bitchy later. I was like stfu Andrew. Hahaha. Except not I just left.
Helped several artists with finding CD's. Still don't know who most of them are. The TOm Fun Orchestre wanders in a lot. And these dudes came into today (they were patrons) but damn were they dressed nice! The one had like wavy black hair, and a hawt hat on, and a hankerchief, and he had an open jacket on with a vest ontop, and had these stylish jeans on with these amazing boots. I almost died. He was attractive. So were his friends. Anyways.....
So my shifts over and after I sorted out Aus calling me constantly. I walk over to get foods and meet Sarah there. And as I'm walking through the backstage gates I loook up and theres My Best Friend, and he talked to me first! He was like Hey Jessica! And I was like oh hi! And he was all how's your day? And I was like good how about yourself? And he was like pretty good, see you tomorrow. Because he knows I'm coming to the show tomorrow morning and he told me to bring my friends, but clearly my friends are lame.
Then supper was really yummy. It was really good potatoe salad and steak. and COOKIES!!!!!
And then I sat wtih Sarah which happened to be where I was sitting with MBF the other day. I was like ok this is just weird....
My ear really hurts today. Lame.

So then I went and laid onthe grass and had a little nap before main stage.
Then when the bands started I went to the dance floor and started moving it. Then STEVEN PAGE MADE MY FUCKING LIFE! HE KILLED HIS PERFORMANCE AND THEN SMEARED IT ALL OVER! IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING! He sang all of his new songs which were absolutely brilliant. And he talked a lot which made me happy. And he was like I try not to blend in and to those of you who do beware! And then he talked about making out with randoms at the volunteer party last night. I should have been there. Lame. AND HE PLAYED ALL MY BARENAKED LADIES FAVOURITE SONGS! HE PLAY JANE and OLD APARTMENT and BRIAN WILSON! My shit was flipped okay! And I got some of the apartment song till the security shook her head at me and I was like Oh I'm sorry! And she was like it's okay... Hahahahaha. Apparently Calgary looks like Berlin 11 years ago from one stage. I was like huh. And Steven Page made Ralph Klein tear down the wall between Edmonton and Calgary. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!! I will have pictures. It's great!
So tomorrow I'm waking up early. Heading to Broken City Stage. Watching MBF. Then I'll either search out lunch or another stage. Then volunteering 1 - 10. It's gonna be a gooder.

This makes me laugh because I say all this to play the part but really at the time I'm like all chill. Heck I'm still chill. Just makes me smile. Except when I was eating the muffin. I was loosing it.
